Thanks Zack and Russ… I’m going to discuss this with my manager today, and see what we can come up with as a solution. Zack, keep me posted on how RapidIntake’s software integrates with your Learn.com LMS (That is what we are running too, and I’m in the process of getting that up and running in addition to creating our courses).
Has anyone tried Learn.com’s CourseMaker Studio and it’s companion software of Course Editor and StreamMaker? Has anyone experienced the level of frustration I’ve had with the software and bagged it completely (like I’m close to doing) and purchased Lectora or some other course creation application? I just want to get an idea if there are other developers that had the same issues and what they decided to do to resolve them and get their projects back on track.
Thanks (and wow am I glad that I joined this forum!!!)
Andrea
I did finally get a training module completed in Flash Form by Rapid Intake. We assigned the course to 1,000 employees and so far almost 800 have completed the course.
The problems/issues we experienced during the rollout have so far all been either no flash player installed or an older flash player installed. So far it is easy to determine who is having the problem – if the Learn.com reports show completed with no score we know they didn’t have Flash player installed.
I really like the flexibility of the FlashForm software. I customized the template (their templates are a little weak). To create each course, I just create a flash file of the appropriate size and edit my animations to a voice narration track. It is really easy. Flash Form Version 2 even builds the manifest file and everything.
