E-learning Internship

“The Code” has an exciting new e-learning internship that will offer volunteers the opportunity to gain real hands-on experience working directly for an international organization based in Bangkok.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven fundraising intern to be a part of our dynamic team and help us further strengthen the implementation of the Code of Conduct for Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism (“the Code”) by the use of e-learning.

Job Description

• Assisting the general manager, the candidate will be involved in developing an e-learning strategy for the organization.
• The successful candidate will conduct research on exciting training material and develop and implement new e-learning material.
• The candidate will help implement a new Learning Management System (LMS) system within the organization.

Skills Required

• Experience in e-learning
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
• Good computer skills
• Ability to self start with minimal supervision
• Enthusiasm and dedication

About “the Code”
In response to the phenomenon of child sex tourism, the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism (the Code, http://www.thecode.org) was initiated by the global child rights network ECPAT in cooperation with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and Scandinavian tour operators. Over the last 15 years, it has grown into a global initiative with more than 1000 travel companies from 42 countries having signed the Code. Today, it is one the best examples of a voluntary sustainability standard for the protection of children’s rights.
