[quote:ab014edff6=”oracle”]I don’t have any experience with Suse, but have had excellent experience with Red Hat. Although you can use Red Hat ES 2.1 it is at it’s end of life. Highly recommend the following configuration:
Red Hat ES 3.0
Oracle Application Server 10g, release 9.0.4
Oracle Database 10g (patch set 10.1.0.4)
The above is fully supported by Oracle as of this date and have it running at several clients.[/quote:ab014edff6]
Thanks again for your help!
We have:
Oracle Application Server 10g, release 9.0.4
Oracle Database Release 2 (9.2.0.1 + patch 9.2.0.6)
What do you think about Red Hat ES 4? Or you recommend to use Red Hat ES 3.0? Is there can be any problems because of our DB version 9i?
Sincerely,
Alexander
