Nuvvo is live

john · 5 November 2005 ·

Nuvvo is live! The unique Learning Management System for the individual
instructor was recently released, attracting hundreds of instructors in the
first month since intitial launch.

Nuvvo provides an online learning portal, course management tools, content
creation tools, and an evaluation suite to instructors on-demand and free of
charge. Student enrollment fee is $5 per student, per month. Instructors set
course prices to whatever they like; students sign up with their credit
card, then we subtract the enrollment fee and send the instructor the rest
via cheque or paypal.

K-12 teachers, corporate trainers, university professors, or amateurs who
know baseball cards inside out can all use Nuvvo to reach students all over
the world. Nuvvo allows users to:

. post prep. and follow-up for their live sessions
. create a multimedia hub for their classroom
. teach stand-alone courses online

Nuvvo is powered by Savvica Enterprise Edition, a fully featured enterprise
LMS. It is also the first LMS to incorporate AJAX, the innovative technology
that’s streamlining server response and ramping up application speeds in
software like Google Maps.

The Personal Learning Management System got a great reception at Educause
2005, and the customer kudos are rolling in.

Savvica is an Educational Software Company in Toronto, Canada. Our mission
is to elevate online learning with systems that are usable and intelligent.
We continue to release versions of Nuvvo and Savvica Enterprise Edition with
expanded functionality and additional features.
