Cooper’s session, titled “Analysis to Action: using instructional analysis data to drive corporate performance management,” is slated for Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Sheraton World Resort.
In his presentation, Cooper will discuss ways organizations can go beyond the important first step of identifying linkages between skills, competencies, knowledge, goals, objectives and learning events, to ultimately applying this knowledge to drive operational business performance.
The New Learning Technologies Conference brings together professionals from the education, industry and government communities to present information on accomplishments in the areas of technology-based learning systems, management systems, research and applications. The conference will focus on new technologies as well as existing applications that have been successfully utilized.
Cooper, a founder of Plateau Systems, is a visionary in the field of instructional technology and learning management. Prior to Plateau, Cooper led marketing and product analysis for the Training Systems Department at MRJ, Inc., a Virginia-based IT company that is now part of General Dynamics. He was a principal architect for the original Plateau Enterprise Learning Management system. Cooper also served as senior analyst at General Physics Corporation, providing instructional design and training system development.
